Employment

Women’s Health and Wellbeing Program

Delivered in partnership with Amanah Studios, this culturally safe health education and yoga program supports women of African-Australian heritage to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. The program combines practical health education with yoga and wellbeing activities, while building confidence and creating opportunities.

Community

Employment Readiness Program

A school-based group employment readiness program that introduces young people to the job market and builds practical skills for entering the workforce. Students learn about effective resumes and cover letters, job applications, and interview preparation, including mock interviews. Group sessions are followed by one-on-one support to develop resumes, prepare job applications and get ready for potential interviews.

Advocacy

Community Engagement Programs

A wide range of initiatives, including school holiday programs, youth engagement, learning and capacity building and recreational activities. These programs connect community members, with a strong focus on young people from the African Australian community.
